Fossil fuel pollution is driving a new era of ‘unnatural disasters’ – and our wildlife and ecosystems are suffering.
Yet destructive new coal mines continue to get approved while scientists are calling for deep, rapid and sustained reductions in greenhouse gas emissions.
We need your help to use the law to get real action on climate change and give our threatened wildlife and ecosystems a legal voice.
Supporting landscape restoration
Landscape restoration is a top priority of our mission, aiming to restore and recover precious ecosystems. By restoring woodlands, peatlands and mountain environments, we seek to restore biodiversity and combat climate change, ensuring the resilience and health of natural landscapes for future generations to enjoy and benefit from.
Become a Species Champion
We work to reintroduce and protect important species, working to restore balance in ecosystems and promote biodiversity. By restoring iconic and keystone species, we restore important ecological functions and contribute to the overall health of the natural environment.
This is the hope of protecting biological and plant diversity; they reflect our own humanity and our potential to bring constructive change to the world. We hope you will give us the opportunity to be the ones who carry the torch of compassion and responsibility as we move forward, lighting the way to a world that lives in harmony with nature. Projects dedicated to humanely protecting nature.
- Transition away from extreme energy sources that pose significant risks to ecosystems and communities (such as fossil fuels, nuclear power, waste and biomass incineration, landfill gas, large-scale hydro, and agrofuels).
- Follow science-guided policies to reduce carbon emissions and avoid catastrophic climate change.
- Establish urban and rural economic societies that provide practical solutions to the climate crisis, strengthening worker and community governance through advocating collective control over land, water, and food resources.
- Organize economic priorities to prioritize frameworks for a just transition to local livelihood economies, moving away from exploitative and extractive economies towards sustainable, resilient, and renewable economic systems.
- Collaborate on a nationwide "Climate Jobs" program, creating 10 million high-quality, green, and family-supporting jobs through meaningful work.
- Develop and implement infrastructure to protect and promote cultural and biological diversity, establish local seed banks, and safeguard communities and workers most vulnerable to pollution, climate disasters, and economic disruptions.
