Born to face abandonment
Ronald is a child from a slum in Africa, and his life has been filled with endless pain and despair. When he was born, his mother tragically passed away due to complications during childbirth, never having the chance to see her son’s face. His father, devastated by the loss of his wife, could not bear the overwhelming pressure of life and chose to abandon his newborn son, leaving them behind. From that moment on, Ronald was left to face a life of loneliness and helplessness.
Ronald's tenacious life
Without the care of a mother or the protection of a father, young Ronald was forced to survive in the slums. He survived on leftover food from others and rotting fruit, just managing to fill his stomach. Severe malnutrition caused his body to grow weak, his skin as thin as paper, and he had almost no strength left. Years of hunger and a lack of nutrition led to muscle atrophy, and he could only stand or walk with the support of a stick, as if life itself was slowly slipping away from him.
Yearning for the future
Despite this, Ronald has fought on, surviving each day as he battles against the limits of his endurance. There is still a faint spark of hope in his eyes, yearning for the day when he can break free from poverty and hunger, and live a normal life. However, in the slums, there are countless children like Ronald, suffering the same pain and hardship, waiting for us to extend a helping hand.
